“The first step is: accept yourself as you are; drop all shoulds. Don’t carry any ought on your heart! You are not to be somebody else; you are not expected to do something which doesn’t belong to you — you are just to be yourself. Relax! and just be yourself. Be respectful to your individuality. and have the courage to sign your own signature. Don’t go on copying others signatures.” - Osho
Lately, I feel so lazy and had no energy that’s why I decided to punish myself by doing fasting, but instead of doing it as purely as I can, my laziness is still on topic….
Breaking the fast. Seriously, it was so hard to keep on fasting when lots of yummy temptation is staring right in front of me.. But at least I’ve been there,(umekspiryenslanganglola) lol.
So that’s my first 24 hours over, ngarag din…..
Lesson?I guess, preparation is really still, the key to success!

What is Fasting?
Most religions use periods of fasting as a means of demonstrating faith or penitence, and an opportunity for spiritual reflection. Fasting has also historically been a means to express political views and a form of protest.
Though it may not be the most practical — or safest — diet, some people use fasting as a way to lose weight or to cleanse the body of toxins, although experts say our bodies are perfectly equipped with organs that already do the job. How fasting is used for weight loss varies by diet. Some fasting diets involve drinking nothing but water or eating only raw foods for a period of one or more days, while others restrict food on alternate days. Certain fasting diets only allow liquids like water, juice, or tea, while others dramatically cut calories but do not eliminate food altogether.
Throughout a good deal of human history people have practiced fasting both for its health benefits as well as for spiritual and religious reasons.
The health benefits of fasting are numerous, and include both short-term advantages (weight loss) and long-term benefits (preventing disease, managing blood sugar levels, improving mental acuity).
One should consult with a doctor before undertaking a fasting program because there could also be some risks. In this lens we will explore more about the health benefits of fasting and talk about how to do it properly, including both water fasting and juice fasting.

“Whenever there is a challenge, never reject it… welcome it. Challenge is life and life-giving. So whenever there is a challenge, immediately take the opportunity and thank God that again the unknown is before you. Again you are afraid, good. Again the security is no more there, good. Again you move in the insecure. Again the adventure starts and you don’t know where you are going you don’t know where you will reach, or whether you will ever reach. -Osho hey, Im going to try to fast, and this would be my first day of what I hope to be 10 days juice/water fasting… I gained so much weight since my last recent job. and since nasa bahay lang ako these days (waiting for graduation), why not to try di ba? annnd hopefully makaya ko without any preparations.
